Dana was born in Milan (Cancer
Birth / Aries Spirit), educated in
South Africa, lived in London, and currently resides in New York.
Prior to becoming a Reiki Master, Dana enjoyed a successful career
performing throughout the world, on Broadway, television, and in live concerts
sometimes with her brother, Sergio Franchi. She is credited with numerous singing
engagements on the Johnny Carson Show, Merv Griffin Show, and many variety shows
in the United States, England, and South Africa. Her career as a singer peaked
with her own “The Dana Valery Show” which aired on FOX television.
Dana recently hosted her own radio
talk show "Natural Harmony" a live New York broadcast dedicated to
good health and meaningful relationships..
Dana remains a Member of the Screen Actor’s Guild
(SAG), Actor’s Equity Association (AEA), American Federation of Television
& Radio Artists (AFTRA), and American Society of Composers, Authors &
Publishers (ASCAP).
Although
enjoying a glorious career in the entertainment industry since the age of 16,
Dana opted to make a career change to explore the world of healing alternatives
- an opportunity to give back some of the joy and enrichment she had
experienced throughout her career.
Dana
made a commitment to Reiki, an ancient art healing
using the “hands on” technique. After years of training, she became a Reiki Master, 6th in lineage to Dr. Makao
Usui, its founder. Dana proceeded to build a worldwide energy healing practice,
and today she counsels and teaches many high profile individuals, families, corporations,
medical professionals and institutions.
In
her quest for Universal harmony, Dana discovered there was a correlation between
the vibrations of the twelve Zodiac signs and the twelve notes in our Western musical scale. This insight
founded the music theory
embodied in zodiacvibrations music library. As
a member of the co-writer’s team, Dana contributed years of experience and
spiritual wisdom to the project.
Dana is a Member
of the Reiki Alliance and a Certified Hypnotherapist.
